Blogging the psudo-SOUA
Tough to listen to. But there wasn't, from what I heard anything worth listening to.

Health care, now.
How will we address the 'crushing cost'? Taxes and regulation? Bet on it.

Got 'save or create jobs' 'crisis' 'stimulus' did he say 'toxic assets' yet? "investment' 'sacrifice' 'protecting responsible homeowners' and 'trillion-dollar deficit that we've inherited'
'tax cuts to 95% of working families'
I know he's said 'alternative energy' that's the silliness he's puffing out now.

reform our out-dated regulatory system
tough rules
Not much good if Congress condemns regulators when they implicate contributors and cronies like Raines and Johnson.

Does it concern anyone that he plans to hold mayors and governors accountable? I thought the citizens and their elected representatives in the several states had that responsibility and authority.
When did the Constitution expire? I think I missed that.

Playing O-BINGO from atr.org.
Got Crisis in the first sentence.
Sacrifice
Why didn't I have 'now is the time'?

Nightmare "Change" is no dream
We've already sunk $800B down the TARP memory hole. several million dollars of which "trickled down" into excessive executive compensation for Obama appointees. The regular budget that you know will be porked up with a trillion dollars to relieve 8 years of pent-up patronage to Democrat clients and now $1T that are soon to go up in smoke:
"When this bill passes, a Niagara Falls of money will flow out of Washington and into the accounts of state highway commissioners, governors and legislatures, local school boards, county executives — even mayors, Binder says.
"It raises a whole host of questions about how efficiently money can be spent, how effectively it will be spent, how quickly money can be spent, just because there's no set process here for determining how money will get out the door to create jobs or, as the president said, to save jobs," she says."

Lack of accountability and controls...seems I've heard that song before...but it's OK when Democrats led by the One do it.
In fact, its dreamy for some 'journalists': "The other night I dreamt of Barack Obama. He was taking a shower right when I needed to get into the bathroom to shave my legs"

So far, what is being presented will not make our economy any better or more secure
Just the opposite: "President Obama's economic recovery package will actually hurt the economy more in the long run than if he were to do nothing, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday.
CBO, the official scorekeepers for legislation, said the House and Senate bills will help in the short term but result in so much government debt that within a few years they would crowd out private investment, actually leading to a lower Gross Domestic Product over the next 10 years than if the government had done nothing."
